Birthday breakfast

For my birthday (I'm now 24) we went to Sweet Score and dined on donuts and fro yo for breakfast. She has tried a powdered donut before but after a bite of moms fancy pink donut she was set. She  liked the sprinkles the most.

Party Colors

     I think, I hope, we have decided on Penny's first birthday color scheme. Drum roll please...... Turquoise (Aqua, not positive which yet), Gold, and white. Here is the picture that inspired the decision.

   I know, I know your birthday is still 5 and a half months away. But like with everything else we're planning and shopping early so the stress is slightly less intense come November. I still can't believe you are 7.3 months old, how time has flew by. Here are a few more pics of  party decor that I'm thinking will be cute.

Donuts make me go nuts

Penny likes Donuts! At least she likes to smash them in her hands and against her face, whether or not she's eating them remains to be seen. It was snack time at school and Penny was not into watching the other kids enjoy snack with out her. So this mom did what any mom with a whiny baby would do, give her what she wants (ha ha). She enjoyed every minute of it.

A Rainy Monday

       A random rain storm decided to blow in and its bummed out our summer just a little bit. After work this morning we came home and did what you do on most rain days, we hunkered down. Picked up dad when he got off work right after lunch and he told us that some friends were stopping by the house in a bit. Our friend Aiden and his dad came over for a bit and the kids played inside (because of the rain). Aiden is much bigger (18 months), and is walking around exploring the house. You can see in Penny's eyes she is dying to get up and trot around too. Soon enough baby girl, soon enough.
