18 months

A very Merry Un-Birthday!
Today my little girl is a year and one half. I can't believe how time has flown by. Each month is more fun and exciting as she grows into a tiny human with one hell of a personality. She is loud and crazy sometimes but definitely shows her soft quiet side just as much.
You love to be outside digging in the rocks or being sprayed by the hose. Summer will be cake keeping you cool. You have started to jibber jab alot and get a little upset when we don't know what your asking for. Some choice words are; no, dog, tree, and car. You make chicken, cat, dog, horse, and dinosaur noises and as I laid you down to bed the other night we heard a very clear "no, mama." I turned right around to comfort you. I was impressed.
You haven't shown any signs of wanting to potty train. Hopefully this summer will will get that done. You eat ok. Favorites include meat, broccoli, noodles, eggs, pretzels, fishy crackers and raisins. We are still introducing new veggies and fruits at every meal and she has started to try them, hopefully the next step will be eating them then possibly liking them.
You have made our lives complete Penny and each day you remind me how blessed I am to have you.
We love you Penny!

Mother's Day

I had a wonderful Mother's Day Weekend. Penny made me a hand painted pot and planted a marigold inn it at school with grandma. I love it. Hearing the stories of while she was painting it is the best part too. And Danny took me out Friday night to go buy a new digital camera. I got a Nikon Cool Pix. It's purple, fabulous and takes amazingly quick, clear pictures.
Saturday evening Danny watched Penny and my mom and I got a pedicure. We went to Golden Nails and it is the best in town by far. Some of the employees even speak English. Bonus!
Sunday Morning we went to Lotus Park and played in the water for a few hours. Penny is a fish and loved just standing in it even though the water was quite chilly. Life vest is definitely on the list this summer knowing now how much she wants to just get out there and swim. Also some Salt Water sandals are going to be a must around here in these rocky rivers.

It was a fantastic weekend and I am one lucky Mamma. I love these two to the moon and back, thanks for making me feel special each and everyday.

A new schedule

Starting the first week of May Penny and I have a new schedule. I got a (very) part-time job baking scones for one of the mother's at the preschool. It's nice to squeeze in a little more time working for the extra cash. I work at a house Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday from 9:10-12:10, roughly three hours.

During these three hours Penny stays at the preschool with grandma. She is doing good playing with the other kids. Its the things like sitting the whole time for lunch and lining up and things most 1 1/2 years olds can barely do. I love that she gets time away from mom where she has to listen to someone else even if it is just grandma.

So our new schedule has us doing slightly longer days which leads into naps immediately after school and me struggle to keep you sleeping while i transfer you from car to bed.

But this is the new schedule and it will only be this way through May until my daycare hours may shift but we will see.
Monday- Preschool 6:45-3:00
Tuesday- Preschool 6:45-9:10, Baking 9:10-12:10
Wednesday-Same as Tuesday
Thursday- Same as Tuesday
Friday- No Work
Saturday- No Work
Sunday- No Work

I'd like to say thank you to Danny for working so hard so that I only have to work part time and spend more time with Penny. I'm truly blessed to spend most all day everyday with her.
