St. Patrick's Day

Our St. Patrick's day was low key. Penny and I headed to school in the morning where the classroom had been torn apart by the little leprechauns that were looking for our gold. Even the trap we built had been knocked to the floor. We ate green pancakes with whipped cream and lucky charms sprinkled in top. The kids sure do love the sweet stuff for morning snack. I have been making themed snacks for Penny all weekend. From "healthy" green eggs to sham rocked shaped peanut butter sandwiches. Even a few green smoothies.

We stayed home during the day and got some more yard work done. We burned another pile of leaves and cleaned out the planter boxes. While i was shoveling leaves Penny was playing on the porch. I could hear her laughing and see her messing with cat. She has a habit of poking animals eyes. So the cat Andy finally had enough and gave her a quick claw to the face. Thankfully it didn't hit her eye or catch her nostril or something. The cat took off before I could kick him in the butt. Hopefully Penny will Stop poking eyes and just pet gentle and soft. Anyways.... We got Penny's playhouse put together. The new paint job makes it look so nice. We will be putting the yard of it together this week. Went to pick up Danny from work around four then went home to spend dinner and some porch play together.

It was a great day.
Happy St. Paddy's Day!
